As far as statements go, the San Francisco 49ers made the biggest one of the season in a 42-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and the Seattle Seahawks must be thinking how they can stop Kyle Shanahan's juggernaut.

During the preseason, some picked Seattle to win the division over the 49ers. Now, that pick looks shaky at best as the Niners look every bit the Super Bowl contender many thought they would be.

But additionally, they are in Seattle's division, which means Pete Carroll's team has to go up against what we saw on Sunday night twice this season.

For former Seahawks receiver Michael Bumpus,Seattle's rivals deserve to be Super Bowl favorites.

“You enjoyed it, until you realize you got to see that twice a year,” Bumpus said on Bump and Stacey on Seattle Sports. “If the 49ers can stay healthy, they should be favorites to win the Super Bowl this year. That’s how deadly they are. George Kittle is just getting going. They looked good.”

The emergence of Brock Purdy as a stone-cold killer on the football field has been something that has taken the entire league by surprise.

In his short career, Purdy is 12-1 as a starter, including playoffs. He has thrown 22 touchdowns to just four interceptions and 2,645 yards.

This season, Purdy is 5-0, has a 72.1 percent completion percentage, nine touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Bumpus isn't a fan of the monster that Shanahan is creating.

“You know what scared me the most? It wasn’t the three touchdowns to Kittle, it was not the connection with Brandon Aiyuk, it was him making these plays and then flexing on fools," Bumpus said. "I’m thinking, goodness gracious, we are watching a monster being created right in front of our very eyes.”

Bumpus is right. Purdy, known as "Mr Irrelevant," as the last pick in the 2022 draft, is taking teams' souls one week at a time.

And the worst part for Seattle? He and this incredible 49ers team are on the schedule twice in three weeks. The Seahawks face the Niners in Week 12 before traveling to face the Cowboys and then face the Niners again in Week 14.

Seattle will know where it stands in the NFC pecking order after that three-week stretch, and after what San Francisco did to Dallas, it looks like a tall order.
